Terrence McKenna also had his "novelty" equation, which predicted the degree to which our system was open to change, new memes and paradigms. This happens in personal and universal spheres. I've also had friends discuss these peak novelty times as "…

About Me:
Developing Selfport.com, a business approach to improving socio-economic conditions world wide. The theme of the product is "an entrepreneurial tool set."
Selfport could be characterized as philanthropy for profit, and has elements in common with Kiva, Prosper, Facebook, the idea of "social business" as defined by Muhammad Yunnis, or social entrepreneurialism, as seen through the Skoll Foundation, Ashoka, Endeavor, etc.
All that said, our first products will revolve around entertainment, and look more like American Idol than some stodgy do-gooder charity. After all, we are moving towards a golden age in which Kurzweil's "law of accelerating returns" will allow for a higher standard of living for everyone that has ever been experienced by anyone, even today.
In this world soon to come, creativity and imagination will translate immediately through technology to experiential products (a la Second Life, full sensory vr, and tools like emachineshop morphing in to assemblers.)
And Selfport is designed to help set the stage, along with lots of epi-phenomena of technology, from web 2.0 to nano, giving beings the socio-economic paradigm to rapidly improve their lives, and our environment and world, through mutual benefit.
Everyone is constantly creating, creating our world and reality. When it is unconscious, creativity is derivative, and recreates forms and memes that already exist, and which appear to the to be "reality" to people who are recreating unconsciously.
Moving towards conscious, or pure, creation, we realize we can choose WHICH forms and memes to recreate. It's like tuning in our reality of choice. It still feels like going to a pre-existing place, rather than creating it. But we realize there are many versions of "reality," and we can choose and move between them.
I see moving towards absolute creativity as moving towards a light, like The Light, often called God.
As we move in to this light, it dawns on us that we can not only choose our reality, but Create it, in any form. Reality is absolutely plastic! This includes thoughts and memes. And it can do anything. The possibilities are unlmited.
From this perspective, there is the realization that whatever we can imagine we can manifest. Of course, the more active and detailed the imagination is, the more "realizable" it is. But the starting point is the germ, the seed, the catalyst around which the imagination constructs the reality. This seed is like the primordial choice.
The seed I decided to cultivate is The Wish Fulfilling Jewel. This is a term from a Buddhist story, about a possibility for a ruler to fulfill everyone in the kingdom.
I have been cultivating a business from this seed, to offer comprehensive solutions to world problems. I say "I," but am not sure that is a good representation for how true creativity works.
Somehow the seed is planted...it is cultivated by stillness, silence. There is something magical about the process. It requires great effort, and in another way, complete abandon....great attention to detail, but the instantaneous knowing of the possibility. Looking at the problem, whatever it may be, knowing there is a solution (as opposed to suspecting there isn't), produces the vision.
I wrote a blog about this a while ago called "Universal Solvent."
My vision:
Universal Solvent, the Wish fulfilling Jewel.
I want to develop a world with unlimited opportunity for every individual, including not just humans, but all sentient beings.
(And not just animals and plants and bacteria, but minerals and sylphs and so on...I admit, I'm a bit of an animist.)
I am really good at:
Working for a long time, doing whatever is needed, focused on a seed concept to develop it through the mechanics of manifestation, to make it a practical possibility.
I could use help with:
For quite a while I've been buried in code. So I could always use super genius techie partners. But, since we are doing things like creating our own currency, and social investment system, legal help will also be required. And, from the point of launch, design and marketing folks will be welcome and needed.
But since our product design is made to support social entrepreneurialism, anyone who can help themselves through our platform will help us, including (people who are or want to become):
Musicians, dancers, comedians, chefs, critics, speakers with political opinions and ideas, green business owners and people who want to live green, social business owners, documentary makers, writers, journalists, charity workers, investors, missionaries, event makers, venues, photographers, graphic designers, creative builders, architects, parents, educators, tour guides, hotels, restaurants, renewable energy and food specialists, etc.
Tools I use...
Ruby on rails. Adobe tools.
Social networks. All kinds of web 2.0 apps.
Innumerable apis:
gigya, bluga, open social, paypal...
I am looking for (services):
Programmers, software architects, security specialists, legal partners with social ideals, people with B2C businesses, marketers, designers.
I am offering (services):
A platform that can help most people further their own creative development in most fields, in ways that can help them earn a living in the process.
